Exploring Cipanas Garut Hot Spring
Before enjoying the warm water of Cipanas Hot Spring for bathing, tourists at least need to know basic information regarding the site. According to the management, the hot spring gets the water from nearby geyser instead of a fountain. Knowing such potential, the locals piled up several stones on the cracks of the geyser so it spurted up for about 3 meters! This, somehow, becomes a unique attraction that tourist can witness during the visit.
The next recommended thing to do is to visit an interesting landmark of the hot spring, which is a suspension bridge. Tourists are allowed to cross the bridge and feel a unique sensation up there. Next, once exploring the site, they can enjoy the prime activity which is bathing. The water feels warm and soothing! It is even said the water helps everyone to relieve skin diseases and other health issues especially rheumatic. One thing, it is better not to spend too much time (hours) in the hot spring as it can turn into an uncomfortable experience.
Here is an important tip. During bathing, tourists are not allowed to use any soaps. No worries. For those who want to wash hair or body using any soap, they can do these on nearby bathrooms after getting out of the pond. Do not forget to carry extra clothes, though.
